At the project test site in Bytom, contaminated with heavy metals, a field experiment was set up to test the impact of various agrotechnical treatments on the growth and acclimatization of miscanthus genotypes.
The field experiment includes two genotypes – one propagated by rhizomes and second where the plantlets were obtained from seeds. The tested agrotechnical treatments are: covering the plants after planting with a biodegradable film, amending the soil with additives supporting plant growth and combining these two treatments together.
